What to expect from Apple’s 9th September event

Apple has sent out invites for the 9th September event. The tagline reads “Hey Siri, give us a hint.” Sadly, when you ask Siri for a hint, she only gives vague answers. For the first time we can stream the keynote live on Windows. A lot of product announcements are expected.

The new iPhone 6S along with the bigger iPhone 6S Plus will be making its first appearance. 12 mega pixel rear camera and an improved facetime camera is rumoured. Force touch might make its way to iPhone. Force touch has been integrated into Apple Watch and new MacBooks.

iPad mini 4 is likely to be announced. Also, year long rumours are pointing to the reveal of iPad Pro. It is supposed to be equipped with a larger screen than the prevailing iPads.

iOS 9, which is already announced will be launched and made available for download.

WatchOS 2 is also announced and might be made available for download. New watch faces and third party app support are some of the new upgrades.

Apple TV might be refreshed with touch controls, slimmer design and Siri support.

I also expect a refresh in the MacBook department but we can never be sure until we see the keynote.
